Someone to Watch over You

Description

In the unsettling quiet of early 2020, as the world grapples with the unprecedented spread of COVID-19, two solitary souls find themselves sharing a home, each desperate to escape the shadows of their past. One, a former security guard haunted by a fatal encounter, and the other, a teacher burdened by accusation, navigate their shared space with deliberate distance. Their connection, forged not through words but through notes and the silent acknowledgment of presence, offers a fragile sanctuary in an atmosphere thick with tension and fear. This poignant novella masterfully explores the complexities of isolation, the search for safety, and the profound, often unnerving, ways human connection can bloom even in the most disquieting of circumstances.
