Description
When the body of a refugee washes ashore in Cyprus, the unidentified victim becomes the center of a chilling investigation—and is given the designation “Victim 2117.” As Department Q’s Carl Mørck and his team trace the victim’s final journey, they uncover connections to war, terrorism, and a deeply personal history of vengeance. Moving between Europe and the Middle East, the novel explores the human cost of conflict, radicalization, trauma, and the dangerous consequences of buried secrets. With its tense international scope and psychologically complex characters, it is a gripping entry in the Department Q series.
