Whispers of Moonlight

Description

Set in the high Colorado mountains, this historical romance follows mine surveyor Clayton Taggart, a restless drifter who longs for a more meaningful life as a teacher. When strong-willed yet vulnerable Jackie Fontaine arrives from the East, their opposing temperaments give way to an unexpected friendship—and the possibility of something deeper. But after tragedy strikes, Jackie retreats from those around her, testing Clayton’s patience, compassion, and growing affection. Blending faith, forgiveness, courage, and gentle romance, the story reflects Lori Wick’s hallmark inspirational style and her interest in characters finding hope amid hardship.
