Description
When a young woman, a former nun with a familiar face, approaches Commissario Guido Brunetti with a disturbing tale, he finds himself drawn into a case that hits close to home. She fears that wealthy residents at a nursing home where she once worked may have been unduly influenced to alter their wills. Brunetti, recalling her compassionate care for his own mother, decides to investigate the unsettling allegations. As he delves deeper, he uncovers a web of potential danger lurking beneath the surface of the seemingly serene institution.
