Description
Billy-Ray Belcourt's debut collection, *This Wound is a World*, is a powerful exploration of love, despair, and resilience, blending the intimacy of a love song with the urgency of a manifesto. Through bold and unflinching verse, Belcourt navigates themes of sexuality and identity, offering a profound meditation on what it means to exist and heal within a world that often seeks to diminish. This electrifying work serves as both incantation and inscription, inviting readers to find glimmers of hope and possibility even in the deepest wounds. Belcourt's unique voice, rooted in his Cree heritage, transforms personal experience into a universal call for connection and survival.
