Description
When five of the world's most dangerous detainees are mysteriously released from Guantanamo Bay, Navy SEAL-turned-Homeland Security operative Scot Harvath discovers that his past has come back to haunt him in the most devastating way possible. A sadistic assassin with a personal vendetta unleashes a campaign of terror against everyone Harvath loves, forcing him to question the very organizations and nation he has devoted his life to protecting. Ordered by the president to stand down, Harvath becomes a renegade, mounting his own covert operation to uncover the conspiracy and confront the mastermind behind the attacks. Brad Thor delivers a relentless international thriller packed with high-stakes action, shocking betrayals, and the moral complexities of the war on terror. As Harvath races against time to prevent catastrophe, he must decide how far he's willing to go—and what he's willing to sacrifice—to protect those he holds dear.
