Description

When disgraced reporter Susan Michaels adopts what she believes is an ordinary cat from a local animal shelter, she discovers her new pet is actually Ravyn Kontis, a dangerous Were-Hunter shapeshifter locked in an eternal battle against supernatural forces. Ravyn, a soulless warrior who has spent three centuries fighting the Diamons that threaten humanity, finds himself unexpectedly drawn to the one woman who could either save or destroy both their worlds. As Susan's curiosity about the paranormal deepens and her connection to Ravyn intensifies, she becomes entangled in a conflict far beyond her comprehension—one where her very existence could tip the balance in an ultimate battle between worlds. Sherrilyn Kenyon masterfully weaves together paranormal romance and high-stakes action in this tale of a broken reporter and a tortured immortal finding unexpected salvation in each other. With the final confrontation looming, Susan must decide whether to trust the lethal creature who has captured her heart, or risk losing everything to the darkness that hunts them both.
