Description
In 1960, Filib Kobal embarks on a profound journey from his home in Carinthia to Slovenia, driven by the quest to find his missing brother, Gregor. This search for his sibling becomes a deeper exploration of his own identity, intertwined with his mixed Austrian heritage. As Filib navigates the landscapes and complexities of Yugoslavia, he confronts the echoes of history and the search for belonging. Peter Handke masterfully crafts a narrative that delves into themes of memory, heritage, and the elusive nature of self.
