Description

Veteran crime reporter Jack McEvoy, facing a forced buyout from his newspaper, is determined to leave with one last, Pulitzer-worthy story. He initially targets a young drug dealer accused of murder, intending to expose the societal failures that led to the crime. However, as Jack investigates, he uncovers evidence suggesting the confession is false, leading him down a far more dangerous path. Teaming up with FBI Agent Rachel Walling, Jack finds himself hunting a meticulous killer who knows he's coming, turning his final assignment into a deadly game of cat and mouse.
