Description
Sheila Tubman is a girl of many selves, from the confident Sheila the Great to the secretly fearful Sheila who dreads spiders, swimming, and dogs. This summer, her family's move to the country will force her to confront all her phobias head-on. Facing everything from canine companions to aquatic challenges and creepy crawlies, Sheila embarks on a journey of self-discovery. Judy Blume masterfully captures the anxieties and triumphs of growing up, reminding readers that bravery isn't the absence of fear, but the courage to face it.
