Description
Eight years after the tyrannical King Leck's reign of terror, Queen Bitterblue rules a seemingly peaceful Monsea. However, the shadow of her father's madness and his mind-altering abilities still lingers, with her advisors advocating for a policy of forgetting the past and pardoning those who committed atrocities. Driven by a deep curiosity, Bitterblue begins to secretly explore her own city, uncovering the disturbing truth about her kingdom's thirty-five-year subjugation under a madman. Her quest for understanding is irrevocably altered by the arrival of two thieves, who possess secrets about Leck's reign and may hold the key to unlocking Monsea's future, and perhaps even Bitterblue's heart.
