Description
When celebrity photographer and notorious socialite Ellis DeLange is found dead in his Richmond home, DCI Morton faces a murder investigation complicated by fame, secrecy, and a relentless press corps. As he probes DeLange’s glamorous private circle, an anonymous tip and an extraordinary eyewitness account raise more questions than answers—including the identity of the mysterious caller and the naked figure seen fleeing the scene. With the case growing increasingly bizarre, Morton must navigate a web of hidden motives and public scrutiny to uncover the truth. The third novel in the DCI Morton series, this police mystery combines sharp investigative tension with an unconventional, darkly entertaining crime at its center.
