Description
In the once-peaceful kingdom of Eriador, young warrior Luthien Bedwyr is driven into rebellion after the brutal rule of Wizard-King Greensparrow claims someone close to him. As he becomes a hunted fugitive, Luthien joins forces with the resourceful halfling Oliver deBurrows and undertakes a perilous quest for legendary weapons hidden within a dragon’s lair. Their mission brings them into a growing resistance movement, where oppressed people, secret allies, and a mysterious elven slave place their hopes in a rising symbol of freedom. Blending fast-paced action, memorable characters, and classic themes of courage, friendship, and resistance to tyranny, this opening volume launches an epic fantasy trilogy.
