Description
Two newly retired homicide detectives expect a restful week in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, but their first vacation quickly turns into an investigation when members of their bus tour group begin disappearing. Though retirement is supposed to mean leaving police work behind, the discovery of a murder makes it impossible for one of them to stay on the sidelines—and tests the other’s resolve to enjoy a well-earned break. Set against the sights and lively atmosphere of the Smoky Mountains, this entertaining mystery blends humor, friendship, and suspense as the former detectives pursue a clever killer among their fellow travelers.
