Description

In the close-knit Davis household, young Belinda longs to find a meaningful way to serve others, and her growing interest in medicine leads her to accompany Luke on his frontier calls. When the Simpsons, a proud new family in town, face a crisis after their son Drew is injured, Belinda discovers that compassion may require patience, courage, and respect for their independence. Meanwhile, Melissa joins Belinda and Amy Jo as she pursues an education and dreams of becoming a teacher. Set against the challenges of nineteenth-century prairie life, this warm installment explores family, service, acceptance, and trust in God.
