Description
This novel offers a unique perspective on life through the eyes of a tiger, tracing his journey from the wild jungles of India to the bewildering world of humans. Once a majestic predator known as Raja, he endures a life of captivity, first in a circus and then in the film industry, before making a daring escape. R.K. Narayan masterfully blends Hindu mysticism with his signature Malgudi humor, using the tiger's experiences to reflect on human absurdities and the search for peace. Ultimately, the story explores themes of freedom, identity, and the unexpected places where companionship and tranquility can be found.
