Description
In Arthur Schnitzler's *Dream Story*, a seemingly ordinary evening takes a disquieting turn when a wife confesses a potent sexual fantasy to her husband. This revelation plunges the doctor into a disorienting two-day odyssey through the hidden desires and psychological landscapes of his own mind and the city around him. As he navigates a series of increasingly surreal encounters, the boundaries between reality, dream, and subconscious fear blur, forcing him to confront the unspoken truths within his marriage and himself. Schnitzler masterfully explores themes of fidelity, repressed desire, and the elusive nature of identity in this psychologically charged novella.
