Description
In Jennifer Donnelly's "Revolution," two girls separated by centuries find their lives irrevocably intertwined. Andi Alpers, a modern teenager consumed by grief and rage after her brother's death, is sent to Paris for winter break, a city that holds echoes of her family's past. There, she discovers the diary of Alexandrine Paradis, a young woman from the French Revolution era whose own dreams and tragic fate resonate deeply with Andi's struggles. As Andi becomes increasingly obsessed with Alexandrine's story, the boundaries between past and present blur, leading to a terrifying confrontation with history itself.
