Description
Two sisters eagerly anticipate a family road trip from Ohio to Mississippi in their father’s gleaming new Cadillac, expecting the journey to be filled with pride and excitement. But as they travel south, the car draws suspicion rather than admiration, exposing the girls to the hostility and injustice directed at their family because of their race. Through the sisters’ eyes, this powerful story explores racism, prejudice, courage, and the painful loss of innocence. Set within the acclaimed Logan Family Saga, it offers a moving, accessible portrait of an important moment in American history.
