Description

When a notorious poisoner is found dead in a manner eerily similar to a plot in one of her own novels, mystery writer Harriet Vane becomes the prime suspect. The evidence seems damning, and the public is quick to condemn her. However, the debonair detective Lord Peter Wimsey believes in her innocence and embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind the murder. He must navigate a complex web of secrets and lies to clear Vane's name before it's too late, delving into the intricate world of poisons and the darker motives that drive people to kill.
