Discontent
Description
In a vibrant Madrid, a young professional named Marisa navigates a life that appears perfect on the surface, yet is plagued by a profound sense of existential unhappiness. Her days are a monotonous cycle of a draining job and superficial connections, leaving her questioning her own potential and purpose. When a colleague's unexpected death and the reappearance of an old friend shatter her carefully maintained routine, Marisa is compelled to confront the simmering discontent she has long ignored. This darkly comic and sharply witty novel delves into the pervasive themes of modern alienation, the elusive search for meaning, and the quiet desperation that can lie beneath a seemingly flawless existence.
