A Roman soldier named Marcellus wins Christ's robe in a dice game following the Crucifixion, an act that sets in motion a profound spiritual journey. Haunted by the robe's mysterious power and the faces of those he wronged, Marcellus embarks on a quest for truth and redemption. His path leads him through the early Christian communities, where he grapples with faith, doubt, and the transformative nature of divine love.
