Description
In the heart of the Reagan era, "Millennium Approaches" plunges into a world grappling with the AIDS epidemic, political conservatism, and profound spiritual questioning. This epic drama follows a diverse cast of characters whose lives intertwine in unexpected ways, from a gay couple facing illness and infidelity to a closeted Mormon lawyer and his troubled wife. As the boundaries between the real and the supernatural blur, angels descend and the past haunts the present, forcing each character to confront their deepest fears and desires. Kushner's masterful play is a vibrant, challenging, and ultimately hopeful exploration of love, faith, and the search for meaning in a rapidly changing America.
