Beware the Fish!

Description

At Macdonald Hall, a cash-strapped boarding school faces drastic budget cuts under the watchful eye of its formidable headmaster, William R. Sturgeon—better known to the students as “The Fish.” When Douglas Fairchild, an irrepressibly mischievous ambassador’s son and perennial private-school flunkee, arrives, ordinary school troubles quickly escalate into outrageous schemes involving bizarre memos, spectacular pranks, and an unforgettable squid-based stunt. Gordon Korman’s fast-paced slapstick comedy captures the chaos of boarding-school life while exploring friendship, rebellion, school authority, and the creative resilience of clever young troublemakers.
