Description

In a future where humanity has spread across the galaxy and robots have become an integral part of society, Detective Elijah Baley of Earth's overpopulated cities harbors a deep distrust for both the Spacer colonists and their robotic creations. When a prominent Spacer scientist is murdered, Baley is reluctantly assigned to investigate on the Spacer homeworlds, a place where Earthmen are viewed with suspicion. His investigation takes an unexpected turn when he is partnered with R.
