Description
Rafia Zakaria critically examines the historical and contemporary manifestations of white feminism, revealing its roots in colonial and imperialist endeavors. The book dissects how this dominant strain of feminism, often presented as universal, has historically served to uphold systems of power and oppression rather than dismantle them. Through incisive analysis and compelling examples, Zakaria challenges readers to confront the exclusionary practices embedded within mainstream feminist discourse and advocates for a more inclusive and equitable approach to liberation.
