Description
This provocative historical account examines the mass displacement of Palestinians during the establishment of Israel in 1948, presenting it as a systematic campaign of ethnic cleansing rather than an unintended consequence of war. Drawing on archival records, eyewitness testimony, and historical research, it traces the policies, military operations, and political decisions that reshaped the region and its people. The book explores themes of forced migration, memory, national identity, and the enduring legacy of the Nakba, challenging conventional accounts of the conflict. Written in an accessible yet deeply argued style, it invites readers to reconsider the origins of one of the modern Middle East’s most enduring disputes.
